Drawing Gratitude: A Neurographica Journey into Mindfulness (06/01/2027)

What if gratitude could be expressed not only through words but also through lines, shapes, and colors?

Join us for an experiential Neurographica drawing workshop that invites participants to explore gratitude through mindful creativity.

Neurographica is a structured drawing approach that uses interconnected lines, shapes, and colors to support reflection and personal expression. During this interactive session, participants will be guided through a drawing exercise designed to explore appreciation, and sources of gratitude in their personal and professional lives.

No artistic experience is necessary. Participants must bring paper, a black marker, and colored markers/highlighters.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

1. Apply Neurographica drawing techniques to create a visual representation of gratitude.

2. Reflect on how creativity may be incorporated into personal and professional self-care practices.

Esmira Yusufova, MSN, MPA, RN, CHSE-A, AHN-BC, NE-BC, CNE, is a nursing educator, simulation specialist, and holistic nurse. She serves as a Lecturer at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and is pursuing her PhD in Nursing at Pace University. Her professional interests include mindfulness, holistic nursing, creative expression, experiential learning, and innovative approaches to promoting well-being. She integrates Neurographica metaphorical associative cards, and reflective practices into educational and wellness experiences.
